- had no blog
- was pregnant
- was feeling crazy due to hormones
- didn't know Grace Davis
- didn't know that grace would reconnect me with lost friend Jen
- was the parent of one live child
- hated brussel sprouts
- thought I couldn't help victims of Hurricane Katrina because I was on bedrest
- was reading a book a day
- couldn't see my feet
- wanted to sue my dead son's pediatrician
- really wanted to drink a full glass of wine
- couldn't decide what to do with Elijah's ashes
- wanted to name my unborn son Malachi
- predicted that I would give birth to my son on Halloween
- had a lot of good friends
- was prone to profoundly sad spells
- wanted to go to Hawaii for my 40th birthday
- lodged a complaint about hospital food
- wondered if my baby would be allright
Today, I:
- have a blog
- am not pregnant
- am feeling crazy due to sleep deprivation
- know and love Grace Davis
- am reconnected with Jen
- am the parent of two live children
- still hate brussel sprouts
- did help with Grace's Katrina Relief Site while on bedrest
- average about a book a week
- can see my feet
- have decided not to sue anyone at all
- will have 2 glasses of wine
- still haven't done anything with Elijah's ashes
- have a son who is not named Malachi
- will celebrate his first birthday on Nov 1st, the day after Halloween
- have even more good friends
- am prone to about half as many profoundly sad spells as a year ago
- am packing to go to Hawaii for my birthday
- lodged a complaint about the ASSHAT CHP officer
- have the most awesomest baby in the world

WOW.
Have fun in Hawaii!
I'm glad you lodged a complaint about the cop. He was a jerk.
I am most grateful to Grace for bringing us back together again. She's like glue! Or perhaps like the paste in Supergirl's kindergarten...all sticky and sweet and you want to eat her.
We'll let the Internet think about THAT and the cupcakes.
