A contrast in Feets

A little update on the accident:

Here we have my right foot, hideously deformed in its own right, but not because of any recent maiming.

I have pure genetics to thank for that, thank you very much!

And here, we have my left foot. Notice the cankle all the way down to the toes.
This is new. As of yesterday. And more today.

Even when I was nine months pregnant, my foot never saw this kind of madness.
You can't really appreciate the muted rainbow of colors that is beginning to appear, ever so vaguely.

The side by side contrast:

OhHolyHell I want my feets back! This is pretty good, actually. This was after 800 mg of motrin, and they almost look like they belong to the same unlucky person! (get a frackin pedicure, woman!)

ahhhhhh man, that's really gross, jeez....eeeewwwww...

poor you. the side by side contrast shot doesn't look that back compared to the solo shot of your left foot. Looking at that took me back 25 years when I fell while dancing. My ankle looked just like yours, and wow the pain. I too saw multiple colors on my foot over the following weeks. I had crutches as well but what really helped the healing, believe it or not, was slowly walking more and more on that foot everyday.

God you took me back. Man, your foot looks bad. Man.

ACCKKK!!

Oh, I am so sorry!! If I were there (and now I believe I have an oh so important reason why I simply MUST BE THERE INSTEAD OF HERE) I would be making you very special teas to help reduce the swelling. And I'd be taking care of YOU. With cupcakes. And lemon drops. And whatever else you requested. And I'd make Bubbles laugh. And ask Supergirl to dress up like faeries with me. And just, well, HELP!

I really wish I was there. Instead of here. You know I do.

Mother of Pearl woman! Jeez, that is something I have done. Though, the drawing of you falling is the best thing I've seen all week.

OUCH! You poor thing. I have great foot empathy since my injured big toe nail (inserted fluted iron coffee table foot under toe nail and half ripped it off and cut toe badly underneath nail ACK) just finally fell off last week, three months almost to the day from injury. Cursing helps, as does tea and sympathy. Wish I were closer to help with the wee ones. xooxxo

Oh, good lord, you poor thing. How long will it be before you're back on both your feet?

Not until the rainbow has come and left that foot, I'm betting.

Ugh.

DAMN girl! That made my feet hurt just reading this. Tell you what, if it doesn't hurt too much to touch it, make someone give you a nice pedicure and paint those toenails. At least it'll give the feet some form of cuteness. =D
